"When visiting Zermatt we ventured over into Cervinia and found a hidden gem — Igloo. On a cloudy day it ended up being the perfect stop on the slopes. The owner was incredibly welcoming and took great care of us. One of the best espresso martinis I’ve had, great pasta of the day, and the limoncello and tiramisu were excellent. We liked it so much we came back several days for lunch, and he remembered us each time and treated us like family. Service was impeccable. Easily one of the best slope-side stops between Zermatt and Cervinia."

"Amazing place to stop with delicious food! If you need to be in and out within a certain timeframe make sure to make a reservation. But even without a reservation we were able to get a table for 2 within 20 minutes of arriving at peak lunch time. We got the pasta of the day and aperol spritz and they were so good. Tables are a little close together but that wasn’t a big deal to us."

"A true Alpine feast — Igloo Cervinia An exceptional experience from start to finish! The T-bone steak was cooked to perfection — juicy, flavourful, and served with crispy potatoes and a fresh salad that complemented it beautifully. But the real highlight was the polenta concia: rich, creamy, loaded with melted local cheese and butter — pure mountain comfort food at its finest. The service was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming — the kind that makes you feel right at home. And the setting… dining with the Matterhorn right in front of you, surrounded by the snow-covered Alps, is simply breathtaking. The kind of view that makes every bite taste even better. The only thing missing was a little background music to complete the atmosphere — but that’s a minor detail in an otherwise flawless experience. Highly recommended — don’t miss it if you’re in Cervinia!"

"This is accessible by a red run and a narrow entrance down a slippery slope. But I tell you, that all fades away once the maître d has quickly arranged you a seat, and the likes of Luigi come serve you. The experience is special. The Goulash Soup? Never had it before and our best meal in Cervinia so far, along with the Minestrone soup. Suffice to say, Igloo is certainly worth the seek and savour. Go there."

"Great spot to have lunch in Cervinia, maybe the best. In the midst of the slopes, the view is amazing, with a great outdoor terrace for sunny days. The food is perfect, fresh and nourishing, with different options, and the service is super friendly. Don’t miss the bombardinos at the end to keep you going in the afternoon!"
